| The 'Liu Shanshan Accordion and Bandoneon and Piano Concert’ on September 30th took place at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music He Luting Concert Hall. This concert, supported by the Shanghai Conservatory, had well-known teachers Li Cong, Zhang Guo-Ping, Xu David, Wang Cong Yu, Zhang Yan, and the other teachers attending. The performance, in various forms, including solo, chamber music, duo, also used multimedia art and lighting to bring an additional visual experience to the audience. Liu Shanshan began learning the accordion at 5 years, studied at the Sichuan Academy of Music Piano with Professor Wu Shouzhi, and Professor Zhang Xiaobo. In 2004 Liu Shanshan went to Hanover, University of Music and Drama, under the tutelage of Elspeth Moser. She is now completing her Masters Degree. Liu Shanshan showed impressive artistic skill and her own elegant and beautiful style of music that was enjoyed very much by the audience. |
