| Spektral Quartet, ensemble-in-residence at the University of Chicago, will return to Goshen with accordion and bandoneon player Julien Labro (picture below) to play a program of South American-style jazz and tangos. The concert is set for Saturday 17th May at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall, Goshen, Indiana. Julien Labro writes: "I've been working for the past couple years now with a wonderful string quartet from Chicago, Spektral Quartet and we have our first release out 'From This Point Forward' that features some captivating musical selections from South America." Above is a video preview about this first project. The album release show was held at "The City Winery" on the 15th May and the official CD release date is 24 June 2014.
