 Video above: Fleur de bossa" composed by Jacques Pellarin and performed by the Jacques Pellarin quartet.French accordionist and composer Jacques Pellarin has recorded two numbers, ‘Resistango’ and ‘Melody of the day’, for NHK, the Japanese Public National Television company. The recordings were supervised by Tokyo-based television producer Aya Ito. The music is to be added to a forthcoming documentary, as ‘Song Titles’. Jacques Pellarin and his vocalist wife Corinne work as the duo ‘Jac & Co’, and have taken traditional French 'chanson' songs by the likes of Édith Piaf, Yves Montand, Francis Lemarque, etc, to many countries, including the USA, where they are frequent visitors.
