 Scottish singer and accordionist Emily Smith won the 2002 BBC Radio Scotland ‘Young Scottish Traditional Musician of the Year’ award, and the following year graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with an Honours degree in Scottish Music. Prior to this, Emily was a member of the Scottish accordion band KODA. She has since gained an international reputation in the folk world.
