 The accordion sections of the 93rd Championship of Ireland Bands Contest will be held in the Market Place Theatre, Armagh on Saturday October 23rd, 10.30am. The adjudicator is Donald Finalyson, and the contests are open to the general public. The test pieces are:Championship – ‘Modern Suite’ (Renato Bui) 2nd Grade – ‘Irish Rhapsody’ (Ivan Black) 3rd Grade – ‘Lustspiel Overture’ (Bela Keler, arranged by Eddie McNally) 4th Grade – ‘Moon River’ (Henry Mancini, arranged by Benny Belton) For further information email Alan Patterson: alans724@aol.com |
