Le 46eme Klingenthal Concours Internationald’ Accordéon a eu lieu du 8 au 14 Mai. Les résultats de la catégorie 6, Virtuoso Entertainment Music, accordéon solo, pas de limite d'âge, sont disponibles: 1er Petar Maric (Serbie), 2eme Grayson Masefield (Nouvelle-Zélande), 3eme Nicolas Koch (France). Le professeur français Frédéric Deschamps a connu beaucoup de succès au cours des deux dernières années avec son élève Peter Maric (qui est aussi un élève du célèbre Beltango leader Aleksandar Nikolic) et Grayson Masefield. L'année dernière, la catégorie a été remporté par Julien ‘Speedy’ Gonzales, également un élève de Frédéric Deschamps.  L'Association Macedonienne des Accordéonistes "Ljubiteli na klasicnata muzika" Skopje a célébré la Journée mondiale d'Accordéon (World Accordion Day) avec de nombreuses activités de promotion de cet événement mondial afin d'élever la connaissance et le statut de l'accordéon.2009 Journée de Macédoine WA photos (2009 Macedonia WA Day photos). Un article de l'information sur la première Journée mondiale Accordéon (World Accordion Day) en cours du 180eme anniversaire de la naissance de l'accordéon a été publié dans les principaux journaux de la Macédoine. Zorica Karakutovska Professeur, Président de l'Association des Accordéonistes de Macédoine, a été invité, en direct sur les programmes des chaînes de télévision nationales. Elle et ses jeunes élèves ont été invités à l'émission populaire "Cinq plus", un programme éducatif pour les enfants. Avec l'accueil de Mina et le chien Petko comme modérateur, le spectacle offre un grand nombre d'informations utiles dans différents domaines avec des moments très intéressants. L'épisode a été une excellente présentation de l'accordéon et un excellent point de départ pour notre association de la campagne de promotion de la Journée mondiale de l'Accordéon (World Accordion Day). Le 6 Mai, les élèves de l'accordéon SMBSC "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj" de Skopje et de la Faculté de musique de Skopje, la classe du professeur Zorica Karakutovska, ont effectué un étonnant concert au Musée de la ville de Skopje, en l'honneur de la célébration de la Journée mondiale Accordéon (World Accordion Day). Le concert a commencé avec le discours de bienvenue du Prof Karakutovska sur la Journée mondiale de Accordéon (World Accordion Day), et pourquoi il a été le 6 Mai. Performances de haute qualité, en solo, duo, trio et ensembles, nouvelles oeuvres originales dont 2 œuvres de compositeur macédonien Elizabeta Ilievska avec divers instruments ont été très bien reçu par le grand public. Le 13 Mai à la Galerie de la ville de Vranje, Serbie et Macédoine accordéon élèves un beau concert dans le cadre de la manifestation de la ville "Mai, Mois de la musique". Selon l'organisateur, il a été l'un des plus visités et les événements populaires. Ove Hahn est décédé, Stockholm - Suèdeby Rob Howard |
 Ove Hahn (1934-2009), de Stockholm, en Suède, est décédé le 6 Mai, âgé de 75 ans. Un passionné de la vie de l'accordéon, il a milité pendant de nombreuses années pour convaincre la radio et la télévision en Suède, à diffuser plus de musique d'accordéon. Ove Hahn était administrateur qui a servi comme président de la Confédération Internationale Des Accordeonistes de 1982 à 2001, remplacé par Kevin Friedrich. Il était également un ancien président de l'Association des Accordéonistes suédois. En 1986, Ove Hahn a écrit la biographie, «Anthony Galla-Rini - sa vie et l'accordéon", publié par Nils Flacke Music, Stockholm. En 1990, il a écrit un livre de référence sur l'accordéon », Bengts dragspel: akta svenskt dragspelshantverk '. Il a également contribué à «Le Miracle de musique suédoise, 75 ans - à partir de l'hiver de notre temps», un livre publié en 2001, l'arpentage de la scène musicale en Suède depuis les années 1930. |

Les tarifs changent chaque jour et le prix du billet, au moment de la rédaction, était 633GBP, à environ 703 Euro. Si les entrées pour la Coupe Mondiale augmentent, hébergement famille d'accueil peut être organisé par une famille de Nouvelle-Zélande. Il n'a jamais été si economique de visiter la Nouvelle-Zélande, jouer dans une salle de classe mondiale dans un cadre exceptionnel avec une excellente acoustique et éclairage.  One of Slovakia's most admired and respected living composers Peter Machajdik has recently finished a 20 minute ‘Concerto for Two Bayans and Orchestra’. Commissioned by AccoDuo from Croatia, the work will be premiered at the Ignacy Padarewski Philharmony in Bydgoszcz, Poland, on June 4th 2009. The Symphony Orchestra of the Pomorian Philharmony will be conducted by José Maria Florêncio. Machajdik's double bayan concerto is dedicated to all those who helped to remove the ‘iron curtain’ and the communist regimes in the central and eastern part of Europe twenty years ago. Peter Machajdik, born 1961 in Bratislava, Slovakia, now lives in Berlin, Germany. He has composed numerous concert works for accordion and other instruments, and has also worked extensively in the realms of cinema, theatre and dance productions.  ‘The Gem of the Kaipara’ photos. This musical work, written in honor of Dargaville's longtime accordion and arts supporter, the late Jenny Cocurullo, featured at two Auckland Symphony Orchestra concerts and will go to the USA later in the year.Held at the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna on May 10th, and the Auckland Town Hall the week before, the concerts were conducted by composer Gary Daverne and featured Dargaville-born Kevin Friedrich as accordion soloist. Gary Daverne had been commissioned to write the music as a tribute to Mrs Cocurullo, a former district councillor, who died in 2001. The work was premiered on May 11th 2002 by the Auckland Symphony Orchestra with Kevin Friedrich in Dargaville Town Hall. Former Dargaville Mayor Graeme Ramsey said at the time: "Jenny always promoted the Kaipara as 'Gem of the North' while she in turn was considered the 'Gem of the Kaipara', thus the title of the composition." As with the premiere performance, beautiful images of the Kaipara region were projected on to giant screens behind the orchestra during last week’s concerts. These concerts coincided with World Accordion Day, co-ordinated by the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes. Kevin Friedrich will perform ‘The Gem of the Kaipara’ at a concert by the (UMKC) Community Accordion Orchestra conducted by Prof. Joan Sommers on May 31st in Kansas City, USA. |

 On May 15th, at 6pm in the Museum of Contemporary Art , Rostov-on-Don, the International Foundation for Music "Harmony" presents an exhibition of vintage harmonica's, accordions and bayans, in honor of the 180th anniversary of accordion and World Accordion Day. Also presented are the paintings and graphic works of the artist Yuri Rostov Larioshkin. Program: - opening of the exhibition of vintage bellows instruments - opening of the exhibition of Yuri Larioshkina - concert by Alexander Poeluev, Laureate of international competitions. The exhibition will run from the 16 to 25 May 2009. |

 Récemment, pour la 6ème fois à Notre Dame d'Oè dans le centre culturel "Oésia" s'est déroulé le festival annuel "Les Virtuoses 6" Créé par un homme passioné de l'accordéon de qualité, Jean Brun.Dans la première partie le duo "Paris-Moscou" (avec Domi Emorine et Roman Jbanov) a proposé un voyage musical entre les compositions françaises et russes. Aprés leur brillante prestation et le contact inoubliable avec le public, le jeune accordéoniste régional Alexis Lambert a pris le relais. Aprés sa partie musette, le formidable trio avec Ludovic Beïer et Angelo Debarre (à la guitare) a charmé tout le monde avec le professionalisme de l'improvisation sur les thèmes manouche , le jazz et les chansons fransaises.  Diatonic accordionist John Kirkpatrick has this month released a CD of his own instrumental compositions, ’The Dance of the Demon Daffodils’. Using 3-row British chromatic button accordion, 1 and 2 row melodeons, and Anglo concertina, Kirkpatrick performs pieces with such colourful titles as ‘The Dance of the Demon Daffodils’, ‘The Three Piece Suite’, ‘Leaping Jack’, ‘Living in Sin’, ‘Puddleglum's Misery’, ‘Accordionism’, ‘Jump At The Sun’, ‘Unchristmas’, ‘Fishing on a Bicycle’, plus many others.The music on this CD will all be included in a soon to be published book ‘Jump at the Sun - the John Kirkpatrick Tunebook’.  On May 10th in Bataisk, near Rostov-on-Don, there was a competition for Jazz and pop music using folk instruments and singers. The event included lots of accordionists playing as soloists or in groups and orchestras. There was a total of 134 competitors. The history of this competition began in 1999 and its different from most competitions involving accordion in Russia, because it was for Jazz and popular music. |
