From the 8th to the 14th May, is the 2009 46th Klingenthal International Accordion Competition. The results from Category 6, Virtuoso Entertainment Music, accordion solo, no age limit are available. 1st Petar Maric (Serbia), 2nd Grayson Masefield (New Zealand), 3rd Nicolas Koch (France). French teacher Frédéric Deschamps has enjoyed great success the last two years with pupil Peter Maric winning (also a pupil of famous Beltango leader Aleksandar Nikolic) and Grayson Masefield 2nd. Last year the category was won by Julien ‘Speedy’ Gonzales, also a pupil of Frédéric Deschamps. The third placed Nicolas Koch is taught by the famous French school, CNIMA J.Mornet of Southern France.
