Video: Silhouetten composed by Jürgen Ganzer, Performer Mia Ćojbašić

Silhouetten is a contemporary piece containing three movements written for accordion by Jürgen Ganzer. The name of the piece is related to the silhouettes of three composers: J.S.Bach in the 1st movement, B.Bartok in the 2nd, and L.van Beethoven in the 3rd movement.

Mia Cojbašic has represented her country (Croatia) at international competitions and is one of the most prominent young classical accordion artists in Croatia. In June 2011, she started her postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover (Germany), where she is studying with prof. Elsbeth Moser.

In May 2012., she has been accepted as an exchange student at the Sibelius Academy (Finland, Helsinki), where she will study with the renowned accordion teacher and soloist Mika Väyrynen from September 2012.
