 Birmingham’s Richard Adey is the guest artiste at North Staffs Accordion Club on Tuesday, August 19th, 7.30pm. North Staffs AC meets at the Holditch Miners’ Welfare Club, London Road, Chesterton, near Newcastle-under-Lyme.Richard Adey studied accordion with Ingrid Gould, and plays in hotels, restaurants and accordion clubs. He recently played on the Ivor Novello Award winning debut CD of Midlands-based singer/songwriter Scott Matthews. He performs regularly at the Eastbourne Accordion Festival, and will be entering the UK Roland V Accordion competition at St Audries Bay, Somerset, on September 7th.
