| The Manchester-St Petersburg Friendship Society is organizing a ‘Russian Day’, which takes place on Saturday January 22nd, from 1.30pm, at the Nazarene Theological College, Dene Rd, Didsbury, Manchester M20 2GU. The day includes a range of Russian-type activities that visitors can join in with, such as singing, music, dancing, language, history, etc. In the evening, 7pm, there is a concert featuring various artistes, including the Manchester schools Kalina Balalaika Ensemble (MD Brian Hulme) and accordionist Rob Howard.
