 The 28th National Accordion Association (NAA) Convention takes place at the Southfork Hotel and Convention Center, Plano, Dallas, Texas, from March 5th to 9th. President Norman Seaton (picture left) leads a ten member Convention Team dedicated to organizing a superb event.Accordionists from China are participating in the 2014 convention include Yiru Liu, Shusheng Wang, Yuanan Fan, Rui Liu and Annie Gong (China-New Zealand). The Convention offers concerts, workshops, ‘join the band’, jam sessions, dancing, trade show, new instrument presentations, and a ‘swap shop’. Selected members of the National Accordion Association (USA) will teach sessions on classical, jazz and folk music, which are normally associated with the USA and European countries. An early bird price is extended for those booking this weekend.
