 New Zealand based accordionist and singer Lionel Reekie will be performing as a vocalist in Novosibirsk, Russia on January 4th. Singing songs from his album “From Russia With Love”, Lionel is the featured soloist with the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society’s Russian Academic Orchestra. This ensemble uses Russian Folk instruments and features some of Siberia’s finest bayan players. Conductor, Rustam Dikmukhametov also studied bayan, before specialising as a conductor.
