 ‘The Jim Cassidy Collection’ is a reissue on CD of a recording that previously appeared on cassette in 1986, and has been out of print for many years. The 13 tracks include ‘Cordinella’, ‘March Strathspey & Reel’, ‘Mazurka Italiana’, ‘Ossian’, ‘Marche des Footballeurs’, ‘Skinner Reels’, ‘Joyeux Canari’, ‘Kilworth Hills’, ‘Rivalite’, ‘Glenburne Rant’, ‘Nuits de Montmartre’, ‘Morag Ramsay’, and ‘Cuckoo Waltz’.Jimmy Cassidy, one of Scotland’s finest accordionists, won several All Scotland contest titles, and has made numerous recordings.
