| La Competencia Internacional de Concierto de Acordeón se llevará a cabo en el Instituto de Música de Croacia en Zagreb, Croacia, del 17 al 20 de septiembre de 2020. Esta competencia (IACC) presenta una competencia de concierto para acordeonistas y bandoneonistas con el acompañamiento de una orquesta clásica. La competencia se estableció para identificar músicos talentosos y ayudarlos a desarrollar sus carreras a través de un concierto (instrumento solista con orquesta) que generalmente es menos accesible al acordeón. Lleva a los acordeonistas a Zagreb, Croacia, para que compitan en una exposición internacional con orquestas eminentes, debuta en famosas salas de conciertos, giras y lanzamiento de álbumes. Es la oportunidad de su vida para los acordeonistas que desean seguir sus carreras no solo como artistas internacionales, sino también como solistas de concierto.  Video: Martynas Levickis - Shallow (Ha nacido una estrella) con Igne Pikalaviciute y MikroorkéstraEl acordeonista lituano Martynas Levickis (foto a la izquierda) fue nombrado artista en residencia en el Festival 2020 de Mecklenburg-Vorpommern celebrado en el norte de Alemania. Se une a una distinguida lista de artistas en el evento que incluye a Nigel Kennedy, Daniel Hope, Pinchas Zukerman y Daniel Muller-Schott. Martynas, que interpreta un repertorio clásico y contemporáneo afirma: “Este nombramiento y logro significa mucho para mí personal y profesionalmente. Me siento enormemente inspirado y desafiado por él, pero lo más importante es que estoy orgulloso de que mi instrumento haya sido puesto en una posición tan importante. The first will be held on December 14th at 6pm at the Circolo Cittadino di Latina, Italy. This concert is held in conjunction with the “Fall Concert 2019” organised by the International Campus Foundation of Music in Latina. Marco will perform a solo accordion recital with original compositions, world music, jazz and tango. The following day, December 15th, he will perform at the Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata in Priverno, Italy. | Popular Welsh band “Mabon”, which includes Jamie Smith (accordion & vocals), Oliver Wilson-Dickson (fiddle & vocals), Ron Juppy (guitar & vocals), Matt Downer (electric & upright basses & vocals) and Iolo Whelan (drums, percussion & vocals) have decided to disband in 2020 after twenty years of good times. Band members say they have so many good memories of great concerts across the years and they are truly grateful for your support and enthusiasm along the way. Although it's a thoroughly amicable ending: it's time for new projects for some of the band, and new chapters for others.
