| Video: Alex Meixner performs Burgettstown Polka, a tune originally composed and performed by Stan Blout on his "Polka Sounds of the 70s" album on Delta International Records. It has been a popular Button Box polka amongst American Slovenian musicians, as it's included in the widely distributed "Playing the Button Box Accordion Slovenian Style Book 1 by Al Jevsevar". Alex’s version is influenced by the arrangement Steve Meisner recorded on his landmark "Jammin' Polkas" album in 1988. |
