Roland & Dallapè Limited Edition model. The official debut of the new FR-8x version Dallapè occurred today (Wednesday April 10th) at the opening press conference of the Frankfurt Musikmesse 2013, with the formal announcements by Jun-ichi Miki (President Roland Corporation) and Alfred Maroni (President Roland Europe), a performance by Sergio Scappini (picture below) and the presence of Amleto Dallapè. Background: In September 14th 2010, Roland, a renowned electronic musical instruments manufacturer, became the custodian of the historic brand Dallapè accordions. Roland & Dallapé Report After creating an ‘expansion’ tone used with various V-Accordion models and containing the most famous sounds from the history of the Dallapè accordions, Roland now introduces a special model, produced in limited series, dedicated to the Dallapè company. This new model is characterized by high quality finishes and becomes the new flagship luxury version of the FR-8x, and has on board all the sounds of accordions and Dallapè historical models, to feature the original Dallapè brand made in Stradella.
