Austrian accordionist Klaus Paier and the highly accomplished Croatian cellist Asja Valcic have some tour dates in Germany and Austria during February, as follows: March 14th, 7.30pm - Imperial Theater, Hamburg, Germany 15th, 8.30pm – Porgy & Bess Club, Vienna, Austria 18th, 7.30pm – Stadtmuseum, St. Pölten 19th, 8pm - Altes Pfandhaus, Cologne, Germany 20th, 8.30pm - Jazzclub Erfurt, Erfurt 25th, 8pm - Saal der MS, Hermagor, Austria 26th, 8pm - Akku Steyr, Steyr 27th, 8.30pm - Kulturwerkstatt Hard, Hard Kammgarn Klaus Paier studied accordion, jazz and composition at Klagenfurt Conservatory. He has been particularly inspired by such jazz instrumentalists as Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Charles Mingus and Thelonious Monk. For him, their conception of jazz, with its wide diversity of musical possibilities and freedoms, was of great importance.
