 Stockport Accordion Club presented club member Helen Rich in the role of guest for their Club Night concert on April 10th - and what a gem of a player Helen proved to be in the guest spotlight! Her music included ‘Trieste Overture’ (P. Deiro), ‘Valse A Pierrot’ (J. Colombo), ‘My Florence’ (G. Deiro), ‘Under The Double Eagle’ (JF Wagner), ‘Valse Angelique’ (G. Romani), ‘Reve Passe’, ‘Hungarian Dance 4’ (Brahms), ‘Toby’ (Ivor Beynon), ‘Cubanola’ (Frosini), ‘Black & White Rag’, ‘Hot Points’ (Frosini), ‘Nola’ (F. Arndt), ‘Russian Fantasia’ (Frosini), plus some Scottish dance music, and more. The supporting spots by the SAC Orchestra (MD Brian Jenkins), Chris Green/Betty Molloy, John Trigg/Tony Ainscough, the ever amusing John Higham, and the SAC Quartet of John Trigg/Chris Green/Adrienne Sharpe/Derek Pritchard, all contributed to a super evening of accordion entertainment.
