 The Festival "Zlatna Lira" organized by the Music Artists Association of Macedonia, had its 10th Jubilee in 2016. AkordioM (Zorica Karakutovska and Filip Stamevski) had the privilege to play the opening concert which was held on October 18th at the Museum of the City of Skopje. The concert program included works by Bach-Vivaldi, Derbenko, Bete Ilin, Semionov, Piazzolla, Galliano and others. A part of the program AkordioM performed with their friends, renowned artists from Macedonia: Marija Gjoshevska (piano), Zoran Dzorlev (violin), Aleksandra Kocevska (vocal), Biljana Petrovska (piano), Petar Kolevski (clarinet), Kosto Todorovski (accordion) and Filip Petreski (accordion). The concert list of AkordioM is considerable, with performances in USA, Italy, Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, etc. Their latest repertoire has added new works by composer Bete Ilin, showcasing the complex rhythmic structures in Macedonian folklore (5/8, 7/8, 9/8). These compositions are inspired by traditional Macedonian songs and are composed in a contemporary style. The festival "Zlatna Lira" finished on November 1st, successfully fulfilling the main task, promotion and great presentation of Macedonian artists and art. |
