North East Accordion Festival, Minneapolis - USAby Rob Howard |
 The NE Accordion Festival takes place on November 11th and 12th in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This festival is a celebration of the free-reed instrument family including both chromatic and piano accordion, concertina, diatonic button accordions and harmonium. Festivities include concerts, workshops, jam sessions, new friends, and an evening dance. Events on November 11th take place at the Firefighters Hall & Museum, 664-22nd Ave, Northeast Minneapolis, MN 55418. On November 12th the festival is at Elsie’s Restaurant, 729 Marshall Street, NE Minneapolis, MN 55413-1842. ?This year’s guests include, Mike Alongi, Chris Gorton, Patrick Harison, Dee Langley with Orkestar Bez Ime, Datta with Machinery Hill, Denny Malmberg, Dan Newton, John Scaffeo, Mark Stillman, Hank Thunander, and Dan Turpening.
