 Video above of Alexander Selivanov performing as part of a concert dedicated to outstanding Russian composers at the recent 27th International Festival, Moscow.A two-day advanced master class with highly regarded Alexander Selivanov, tutor at the Gnessin Academy in Moscow, takes place on 21st and 22nd March at the Conservatorio di Musica P.I. Tchaikovsky, Nocera Terinese (CZ). Alexander Selivanov will teach students and selected professionals for some intensive educational sessions. Alexander Selivanov was born in 1979 in Kazan (USSR) and in addition to his work at the Gnesin Academy in Moscow, he performs regularly as a guest at many festivals, holds master classes and oversees the organization of important events. His career includes many awards and important international competition victories include the CIA Coupe Mondiale, Klingenthal International Competition in Germany, and the similarly prestigious Premio di Castelfidardo in Italy. The master classes by Alexander Selivanov is one of the musical events around the CIA Winter Congress, in Cetraro (CS), Southern Italy, from 18th to 20th March, 2016. The Winter Congress will offer performances including 'Recital of Piano 4 hands' by 2 talented students of the region Nico Fuscaldo and Filippo Garruba, and accordion performance of Giancarlo Palena, one of successful Italian competitors at the last Coupe Mondiale in Turku (Finland).
