 The annual St Patrick’s Day Festival, ‘Connecting Cultures’, takes place on Thursday March 17th in Omagh, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The outdoor music concert begins at 1pm in High Street with the Clogherney Scottish dancers, accompanied by Malcolm Cathers on accordion, followed by musicians from Dun Uladh and sean nos dancers, Gillian McElroy and Arlene McCarroll.Malcolm Cathers is a well known teacher of both button and piano accordion, teaching classes at the Dooneen Community Education Centre, Fermanagh BT94 3GW. |
