2015 Italia Award Winners
Orpheus 2015 winnersOrpheus 2015 winnersThe Italia Award (International Competitions) were held as part of the 2015 Accordion Art Festival on the 20th and 21th June 2015. The winners were:
Groups: Quartetto Ramuckute-Jakelute-Lukasevicius-Laplikaite
Classical: Manuela Maria Glock
Virtuoso: Daniele Carabetta
Diatonic: Barbara Secondini

The Orpheus Award is an award by well known music critics that is dedicated to Italian (all types) accordion recordings. The CD, or digital productions of the previous year (year 2014) that feature accordion are sent to the critics who select winners for three sections: Classical, Jazz and World.

The winners were announced at the gala concert of the Accordion Art Festival on the 21st June at the Villa Comunale di Roseto, Abruzzi. The three winners are pictured left and right.
