| Rik Cornelissen will hold three improvisation workshops at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Arnhem, Netherlands organised by NOVAM (Dutch Organisation for Accordion and Harmonica) and ArtEZ University of the Arts. The workshops are for anyone who wants to improvise, regardless of the level. Because improvising is about the freedom with which you approach music, and all aspects of music-making are covered (sound quality, theory, chord theory, melody learning, ear training, etc.), it is valuable for everyone. The course is given 'tailor-made', making mixed levels possible. Each course is the same in design, but by using different pieces in different styles (jazz, tango, Latin etc.) there is variety and innovation of material with every course.
