Günther Stoll Conducts Orchestra Concerts, Stuttgart Area – Germanyby Harley Jones |
Well known conductor Günther Stoll has had a busy November with concerts on the 6th, 13th and 20th November with the Handharmonika-Club Nufringen and his new orchestra of nearly 3 years, from Rutesheim-Flacht. "The Handharmonika-Club Nufringen concerts featured the premiere performance of 'Abschied von Camelot' written by Hansjörg Staudacher. The work had some very difficult rhythms!! but was a delightful composition, well appreciated by the audience." In the other concerts the orchestras played with different choirs such compositions as Johann Strauss and more modern works from Michael Jackson, Sister Act and Gospels. The contrast was “Drei Madrigale” from Wolfgang Jacobi. Very exciting performance music. Günther Stoll writes that “my work goes really well with enthusiastic audiences and enough students to make planning for the 2011 years concerts quite exciting work.” |
