 The 28th annual Cotati Accordion Festival takes place on August 18th and 19th in La Plaza Park, 15 W Sierra Ave, Cotati, California. The guest line-up providing non-stop accordion entertainment this year includes: Netta Skog (Finland), Gabe Hall-Rodriguez, Stas Venglevski, Debra Peters, Zydeco Flames, Sourdough Slim, Culann's Hounds with Renée de la Prade, Those Darn Accordions (TDA), Cory Pesaturo, The Mad Maggies, Accordion Apocalypse Stage, Hernandez Hideaway, Michael Zampiceni, Matthias Matzke (Germany), The Great Morgani, Two Gypsy Kisses, Future Accordion Stars, Golden State Accordion Band, Steve Balich Jr. Polka Band, Jim Gilman, MotorDude Zydeco, Mark St. Mary, T-Luke and the Tight Suits, Simone Baron, Oddjob Ensemble, The Traveling Spectacular, Thee Hobo Gobbelins, Karla Mi Lugo, Bellow Shakes, Kalei Yamanoha Passersby, Nathan & Jesse, JD Limelight, Creosote with Jamie Maschler, The Wild Catahoulas, Tom Torriglia Band, and Duckmandu. “The Cotati Accordion Festival has been called the Woodstock of the Accordion World” according to the local press, and features virtuoso level concerts, polka bands, zydeco dance parties, jam sessions, indie bands, 70 vendors, a Grand Finale, and much more. The Cotati Accordion Festival is a non-profit organization, established in 1991?to promote the love of the accordion and to support local youth service organizations. To date they have contributed just under $500,000 to the youth of the community.
