61st Trophée Mondiale, 13 to 18 September Pineto - Italyby Harley Jones |

  The 61st Trophée Mondial run by the Confédération Mondiale de l'Accordéon (CMA) will be hosted in Pineto by the Municipality of Pineto and organiser Artistic Director, famous jazz accordionist and teacher, Renzo Ruggieri (picture left). Daily Reports and results will be on the CMA website from Tuesday 13th September. CMA President Frédéric Deschamps (picture right) announced “.... the creation of WEB TV Channel CMA allows for the first time in the history of the accordion, an international accordion competition to be broadcast live in its entirety on the web.” View at Channel CMA. The competition timetable is on the CMA website. Renzo Ruggieri announced that “Admission to all events is free. Thanks must be extended to the Municipality of Pineto, the Mayor of Pineto Luciano Monticelli and his Cultural Attaché Filippo D'Agastina."
