2013 Frankfurt Musikmesse, New ‘Artists of Accordion’ - Germanyby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |

 The 2013 Frankfurt Messe runs from 10th to 13th April 2013. For the first time, there will be an area especially for accordions in Hall 4.1. In addition to the presentation of accordions and all the accessories for this type of musical instrument, visitors will be able to see accordion performers on stage under the title ‘Artists of Accordion – live on stage’ on all four days of the 2013 Musikmesse. As part of this year’s changes, the harmonica instruments are also to be found in Hall 4.1, making a home of accordions, harmonicas and concertinas. The ‘Artists of Accordion’ stage will be operating on all four days of the fair and the artists performing will show the versatility of the accordion and its different musical genres such as folk music, classical music, jazz, tango and musette. Some performers have been announced such as Matthias Matzke, Vicenzo Abbracciante, Antonino de Luca, Nebl & Nebl (clarinet and accordion duo) and more will be announced in the near future. |
