 An Accordion Master Course 2016/2017 takes place in Urbino, Italy, between October 2016 and June 2017. There will be 7 meetings, 3 guest teachers’ master classes, 5 workshops, and 2 concerts. The course is organised by the Italian Accordion Academy, founded by Claudio Jacomucci (picture right). The teachers include: Claudio Jacomucci - Masterclasses in interpretation; Advanced accordion techniques; Indian rhythmical techniques Kathleen Delaney - Alexander Technique Guest teachers’ master class on the topic ‘Instant Composition’, a transversal approach between genres": Bert Van Den Brink - pianist, composer, accordionist, arranger, organist Simone Zanchini - accordionist, composer, improviser Simone Spinaci - jazz guitarist, compositore, choir conductor Those who are interested in applying to the course must send their biography and an audio/video recording before July 15th.
