Accordionist Cory Pesaturo will provide a performance and accordion workshop on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 6:PM at Stahls Automotive Foundation. Cory Pesaturo, from Rhode Island, is a highly accomplished musician, who plays the accordion, piano, clarinet, and saxophone. He began playing at the age of nine, and studied the accordion at the New England Conservatory in Boston. He became successful in competitions, and in 2011 became the first American to win the prestigious Primus Ikaalinen Competition in Finland. Additionally, Pesaturo won the Coupe Mondiale World Digital Accordion Championship in Auckland, New Zealand, becoming the first American to win a World Accordion Championship since Peter Soave 25 years earlier. All proceeds collected will support Veterans!The public is welcome! The Stahls Automotive Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exists in order to preserve, restore and exhibit specific vintage vehicles of the 20th century for educational purposes. |
