Renzo Ruggieri Releases Solo Composition, Acquarelli Italiani - Italyby Harley Jones |
 The sheet music for the Renzo Ruggieri solo composition, catalog: rrenzo509 - Acquarelli Italiani, is now available.This work is recorded in the newly released album "Accordion Colours" by international competition winner Andrea Di Giacomo. Renzo Ruggieri (picture right) writes about the work: "Acquarelli Italiani was composed in 2003 for accordion and symphony orchestra, later adapted for solo accordion. It is a tribute to "Aquarelli Cubani" composed by the genius Luciano Fancelli. Acquarelli Italiani is a similar operation but based on the rhythm of "tarantella". The arrangement is quite difficult (also contains a transcribed improvisation) and is often used in international competitions and concerts for the brilliant repertoire." |
