 With the participation of the federal agency of culture and cinematography of Russia, Russian Gnessin Academy of Music and the Friedrich Lips Fund, the 5th International Competition of Bayan and Accordion Players is being held in Moscow, 12 to 19 December 2010. This prestigious international accordion competition is in two main sections. Academic Music and Variete Music. This is the very first time for the Variete section. Friedrich Lips and Herbert Scheibenreif have sponsored a website in English (2010 V International) which contains the full program requirements and information for contestants including entry application forms. 2010 V International. Entries close 25th September 2010. The full version of the competition rules containing all the conditions of the competition will be placed online soon.
