“Grand Tabazù” June Concerts - Franceby Christine Johnstone |

 The Grand Tabazù band will perform a series of concerts in France this month.Their music includes a mix of “popular music, celebrating cultural diversity with a festive and generous energy. Combining traditional polyrhythms, contemporary harmonies and improvisations, the Grand Tabazù offers an immersive, participatory and transcultural musical experience”. Group members include Lucas Spirli (accordion – picture left), Stéphane Cézard (banjo), Gérald Chevillon (bass saxophone), Rose Dehors (trombone), Sébastien Finck (percussion), Simon Girard (trombone), Antonin Leymarie (percussion), Olivier Peysson (percussion), Damien Sabatier (alto saxophone), Baptiste Sarat (trumpet) and Adrien Spirli (sousaphone).
