New CD ‘Cafe Culture’ from Eddy Jay and Fiona Barrow, Bristol – UK

Eddy Jay and violinist Fiona Barrow
‘Cafe Culture’ is a new CD from accordionist Eddy Jay and violinist Fiona Barrow, who together have also composed and arranged all the music, written in a Continental style. The CD – also available on iTunes - is released on the West One’s Scoring House label.

The CD features Eddy Jay on accordion, guitar and double bass, Fiona on violin, Richard Harvey on clarinet, and Pete Judge on trumpet.

"Are you trying to do me out of a job?" a lighthearted but genuine quote from Hank Marvin when he heard Eddy Jay had learned to play Hot Club style guitar specially for this album.

Eddy Jay and Fiona Barrow are known to many as the accompanists to singer Eve Louisseau in the popular ‘Piaf’ concert shows.

The tracks include: Many Hands, Pieces of Pleasure, Cafe Culture, Run About, Wine and Roses, Step Into Spring, Halcyon Daydreams, Swing Street, Verre de Vin, L'aperitif, Sunny Days, Making Memories, Musettina, Nimble Fingers, Up and About
