| In celebration of his upcoming 50th Birthday, Mika Väyrynen is currently preparing a spectacular Gala concert "Finland 100 - Väyrynen 50" to be held at The Camerata Hall, Helsinki Music Center on October 11th, 2017 at 7:00 PM. Mika Väyrynen will be performing the World Premieres of six new works. It is probably the only time that an accordionist will have undertaken this monumental accomplishment. On that same evening, Mika Väyrynen will release a new CD of Jouni Kaipainen´s (1956-2015) accordion works. CIA Ambassador and AWW contributor Kevin Friedrich is invited to "Finland 100 - Väyrynen 50" and a full report by Kevin Friedrich will be available for our Weekly News next Friday. |
