The 29th National Accordion Association (NAA) Convention takes place at the Southfork Hotel and Convention Center, Plano, Dallas, Texas, from March 5th to 7th. It’s time to make your hotel reservation – please note that the special rate expires on February 10th. The event is organized by a team led by NAA President Norman Seaton. The Convention offers concerts, workshops, ‘join the band’, jam sessions, dancing, trade show, new instrument presentations, and a ‘swap shop’. The theme of this year’s NAA Convention is ‘Duet Together’. Only in Plano, Texas, would any organization dare to build a whole convention around a pun – ‘Duet Together’?!! Event activities include: • Thursday: Fun-and-EZ Band plus Accordion Orchestra • Thursday: Group Concerts plus Featured Duets • Friday: Buffet Concert plus Friday Dance Party • Saturday: Artist Reception plus Sat.
