The City of Bari, - whose Piccinni Conservatory was the third in Italy to activate one of the most important chairs of the accordion in 1993 - is now hosting the first edition of the Bari Accordion Festival. A total of 6 concerts on 3 evenings held at the Salesian Cloister - Redeemer Church in Bari, Southern Italy from October 15th to 17th, 2021. Artistic Director Francesco Palazzo is accordionist and teacher at the Bari Conservatory. The event, which was supported by the Bari Municipality, the Apulia Region and the Patrocini entities, included six concerts over 3 evenings. Festival accordionists included: United Sounds with Pasquale Barberio (accordion), SudEstada Ensemble with Tiziano Zanzarella (accordion), Shanah Tovah with Fabio Zurlo (accordion), duo composed of Pietro Adragna (accordion) and Giuseppe Sinacori (guitar), Alchémia with accordionist Loderini, Folksongs Tango Project. |
