Martynas Levickis Festival Summer 2023 Opening Concert - Germanyby AWW |
In 2023, Martynas Levickis (picture left by Sebastian-Madej) will shape the Festival Summer as a prizewinner in residence in 26 concerts and events. This means that the Lithuanian accordionist can finally put his residency (planned for 2020), into practice. His opening concert at the traditional festival will take place at the Neubrandenburg Konzertkirche (Concert Church) in Neubrandenburg, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Germany on June 17th, 2023 at 6pm. “Martynas wrote the Festival Overture for this occasion himself. In addition, the Lithuanian shows the diversity of the accordion with Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.” He is supported by the NDR Radiophilharmonie, directed by Delyana Lazarova.
