| The 2021 Leavenworth International Accordion Celebration (LIAC) will take place from June 17th to 20th, 2021, sponsored by the Northwest Accordion Society. This year’s event will be held outdoors due to Covid-19. Their original program which was planned for 2020 (and then moved to 2021) is now being moved to June 16th to 19th, 2022. This includes the Festhalle program, workshops, and Grange activities. Changes for the 2021 event include: • Festhalle activities will have to be cancelled this year. • There will be plenty of entertainment at the outdoor gazebo. • They also have a lovely garden space for jamming and workshops outdoors. • There are also plans to have a virtual adjudication event for students. Organisers are excited to have a great, yet safe festival for accordionists and tourists this year.
