Italy’s Mirco Patarini Impresses Audiences On Tour - Brazilby Samantha Albuquerque |

 Picture above: Mirco Patarini guest soloist with the Orchestra Camerata SESI conducted by Leonardo David.In July 2011 Mirco Patarini made a short tour of Brazil. In the state of Sao Paulo the musician had his first solo concert, presenting a repertoire that caught the attention, most notably the classic ‘Dizzy Fingers’, by Zez Confrey, and an extraordinary performance of ‘Capriccio 24 in A minor’ by Niccolò Paganini. The next performances included concerts at the Casa Brasileira Museum (on July 10th), Ordem dos Músicos do Brasil Auditorium (July 12th), and Araraquara city, at SESC Araraquara (July 21st) as a special guest at a concert starring Oswaldinho do Acordeon, one of Brazil’s best known and accomplished accordionists. On July 24th in Espírito Santo state , Mirco Patarini performed at Domingos Martins, one of the country’s most important Winter Festivals where he was guest soloist with the Orchestra Camerata SESI, under the baton of Leonardo David. Together with the orchestra, Mirco performed music by Astor Piazzolla, including ‘Tres Tangos’, ‘Oblivion’, and ‘Por Una Cabeza’. In addition to his concerts, Mirco also gave interviews to some radio stations and TV channels, including Trianon radio (Sao Paulo) and TV Ara (Araraquara city – Sao Paulo).
