 After a very successful first event in 2012, this year’s Friedrich Lips accordion workshop in Austria will be held during Musikforum Viktring again, from July 15th to 19th 2013 (located in Carinthia, near Klagenfurt). Photos of the historic venue above. Friedrich Lips, concert artist, acclaimed tutor, is head of the famous Bayan/Accordion Department of the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow. He will give solo lessons to participants giving his view of how to solve musical and technical problems, performance on stage, etc.Applications at www.musikforum.at In addition, Friedrich Lips will appear in a concert (‘Russian impressions’) on July 16th, together with the Austrian jazz accordionist Klaus Paier and cellist Asja Valcic, who will present their new CD ‘Silk Road’. 25 CDs available at Friedrich Lips website.
