 The Accordion Pops Orchestra (MD Al Terzo, picture left), from New Jersey, has released a new CD/DVD, ‘Movies and Musicals’. Included are: ‘Ladies of Broadway’, ‘A Night at the Oscars’, ‘Titanic’, ‘Exodus’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Don't Cry For Me Argentina’, ‘I Feel Pretty’, ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Shanandoah’, ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly’, ‘Last of the Mohicans’, and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean.The orchestra performs a repertoire of light classical, Broadway, big band and popular music, and has entertained audiences at concert halls, county fairs, festivals, schools, and playhouses at many locations primarily in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York. Al Terzo is a teacher, arranger, and has conducted the orchestra since its formation in 1970. He serves on the governing board of the American Accordionists’ Association, is an accomplished accordionist, and teaches accordion and piano in New Jersey.
