 John Brannelli, the father of accordionist Gina Brannelli, died last week in Blackpool, Lancashire, at the age of 92.In the pre-war years John and Florence Brannelli played regularly at the George and Dragon, a pub and well-known performance venue better known as the Band on the Wall, in Manchester, fronting a band that included a singer, pianist, saxophonist and drums. John Brannelli born 12/7/1921, passed away 22/6/2014. He is survived by wife Florence, son John and daughter Gina R.I P. |
