‘The Great American Squeeze Off’ Accordion Festival, Nevada - USAby Rob Howard |
  ‘The Great American Squeeze Off’ is an accordion festival featuring 8 different concerts, and takes place at the Silver Baron Ballroom, 407 North Virginia St, Reno, Nevada, on Monday April 4th and Tuesday 5th. The chief guests are accordionists Dick Contino (picture top left), Mario Pedone (picture lower left), and the comedian Corky Bennett, plus Steve Albini (picture right), Pete Contino, Ron Borelli, Joe Cairo, Bob Russ, and John Coverelli. The festival has an “emphasis will be on fun and camaraderie”. The show will travel to the Midwest and the East coast later on in the year and feature stars from those areas!
