 Accordionist Rob Howard will be playing seasonal music as part of a themed afternoon at the Hat Works, Wellington Rd, Stockport, on Sunday afternoon December 5th, 12 until 4pm. Others performing include a brass band and theatre group. The Hat Works is the UK's only museum dedicated to the world of hats and hat making.Accordion duo Rob Howard and John Jones will be playing their annual mixture of war songs, Christmas songs and carols in the Stockport Air Raid Shelters on December 13th and 16th. On each evening there is a guided tour of the Shelters at 7pm, followed by mince pies, wine and music at 8pm. This year marks 70 years since the Blitz on Greater Manchester by the German Luftwaffe, which began on December 22nd 1940 and lasted until May 1941.
