Renzo Ruggieri With Touring Van Gogh and Gauguin Exhibition – Italyby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |
 Accordionist Renzo Ruggieri recently toured Italy with a traveling exhibition of Van Gogh and Gauguin paintings, visiting Verona, Venice, Turin, Milan, Bologna, and other places. The tour finished in Genoa, where the exhibition will remain until April 2012. Among the 150 paintings on display are such famous works as ‘The Sower’ and ‘Self Portrait’ – Van Gogh, and From where we came from, where we go’ – Gauguin. Renzo performed with the Dante Aligheri Orchestra, from Ravenna, along with Piero Salvatori (cello), Mauro Martello (flute), Angelica Leo (actress), Gilberto Colla (actor) and Sandro Buzzatti (actor).
