| The 6th annual ACCORDIONS NOW! Festival, co-sponsored by New Hampshire Accordion Association and Accordion Connection LLC, takes place from August 9th to 11th at the Courtyard Marriott, Nashua, New Hampshire. The registration deadline is noon on Monday August 5th. This year’s festival will be dedicated to the memory of the great Carmen Carrozza (1921-2013), who was a cherished mentor and friend to ACCORDIONS NOW! Festival organizer Donna Regis says of Carmen Carozza, “Carmen’s enormous musical talent was exceeded only by his generosity of spirit. He was - and will always remain - an inspiration”. In her solo concert at ACCORDIONS NOW! Donna will perform music in loving memory of Carmen Carrozza. She will also conduct the ACCORDIONS NOW! Festival Orchestra [ANFO] concert. Performers at this year’s event include Tony Lovello, Joe Cerrito, Gerry Grimo & the East Bay Jazz Ensemble, Jerry Tramontozzi, Brent Buswell, Nancy Leonard, Warren Johnson, Paul Bordeleau, Dan Mackowiak, Carmen Vitanza, from Norway the GAMLE AKER SPELEMANNSLAG, and 15-year-old Norwegian competition winner Einar Thokle Hovden. Paul Ramunni, owner of the New England Accordion Museum, will be in attendance, and there will be seminars by Joe Cerrito and Tony Lovello. ACCORDIONS NOW! is a high-spirited festival filled with warm friendship and terrific music.
