 Irish diatonic accordionist Sharon Shannon, on tour, performs in concert as follows:November 1st – The loft, East Grange Farm, Elgin, Scotland November 2nd - Clickimin Leisure Complex, Lerwick, Shetland November 3rd – Electric Circus, Ednburgh November 4th, 7.30pm - Harrogate Theatre, North Yorkshire HG1 1QF November 12th – Saltburn Community Theatre, saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire November 14th – Cecil Sharp House, London November 15th – St Philip’s Church, Manchester November 16th - Selby Town Hall November 17th – Caedmon Gall, Gateshead November 18th – No 1 Shakespeare St, Stratford-upon-Avon November 19th – Ropetackle, Shoreham, London November 22nd – The Norbury and Edge, London November 23rd – Junction 2, Cambridge Sharon Shannon, from Galway, has pursued a highly successful international career, both as a soloist and with other musicians. She has toured the UK, Europe, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan, and has been particularly successful at engaging younger audiences with the accordion and Irish music. Her travels have seen her perform for US President Bill Clinton, Irish President Mary Robinson, and Polish President Lech Walesa. |
