| The Cotati Accordion Festival takes place on August 16th and 17th, 9.30am until 8pm, at La Plaza Park, Cotati, California. The guests this year include Alicia Baker, Andre Thierry & Zydeco Magic, Big Lou’s Dance Party, Bruce Gassman, Dick Contino, Due Zighi Baci, Jet Black Pearl, Tian Jianan, Jim Gilman, Mark St Mary, Matuto, Motor Dude Zydeco, Paul Betken, Polkacide, Paul McNamara & The Ring of Truth Trio, Sourdough Slim & Robert Armstrong, Tara Linda & The Tortilla Western Posse, The Golden State Accordion Club Band, The Great Morgani, The Mad Maggies, The Rob Reich Trio, The Steve Balich Sr Polka Band, The Wild Cathoulas, Trio Voronezh, and Vincenzo Abbriacciante (Italy). The Cotati Accordion Festival is a non-profit organization established in 1991 to promote the love of the accordion and to support local youth service organizations. To date the festival has contributed in excess of $320,000 to the youth of the local community. |
