 Two gala festivals, both featuring many of same guest accordionists, take place on August 3rd and 15th in Montjean and Voulême. These festivals honour the 50 years career of accordionist Fredy Dumas. On both days the events begin with meals at 12.30pm, and dancing from 3pm.On Sunday August 3rd the Festival de l'accordéon in Montjean stars Denis Salesses & Orchestra, Erika (Belgium), Laurent Pire (Belgium), Pascal Terrible, Pascal Michaud, Sébastien Farges, Nicole Berges, Vincent and Daniel Gavinet, Philippe Leysenne, Clody Musette, and Fredy Dumas. On Friday August 15th in Voulême the festival line-up is Denis Salesses & Orchestra, Eric Bouvelle, Cyril et Virginie Danrey, Damian Poyard, Jean Pierre Roy, Thierry Guitton, Laurent Pire, Pascal Terrible, Pascal Michaud, Sébastien Farges, Nicole Berges, Clody Musette, and Fredy Dumas.
